Apple must choose which Is more important to them and their sales - UK or US. Stop all sales in the UK (rather than accept their 'control') and worldwide sales will go up. People everywhere appreciate having their privacy protected and vice versa; cave in to these libelous liars just so you can sell in UK - and the US (plus many of the 2 billion affected worldwide) - will look elsewhere for computer purchases. A boycott of Apple products is also likely. I doubt if UK sales will match the loss of angry worldwide markets. Time to dump these lying, censoring, anti-free speech UK dogs in the 'bin'!
Apple can’t comply with this nonsense unless they choose to be part of the digital control grid. It would not be coercion, it would be collusion. Apple’s customers (including me) will need to respond by discontinuing their use of Apple products and find alternatives, such as LINUX and Graphene OS for smart phones. This is a line in the sand that can’t be crossed without repercussions.

Ireland tried to pass something similar (the Hate Speech Bill) which would govern all Ireland-based social media companies, and they are all in Ireland, but it was shot down by the citizenry. I guess this is Plan B.
Let's judge the companies on the basis of their ethicals stands under blackmail. We must stop all the backdoors. I also think that Microsoft should stop installing AI as part of every Windows operating system, unless requested. The Windows Pro may seem like AI was removed--after they first installed it without permission--but I keep seeing AI presence, and I am not convinced that Windows Pro OS doesn't have AI still present somewhere, perhaps under a different name as the search for the AI file does not produce any results, but perhaps AI is being introduced by apps. Something is not transparent. Something is wrong and has not been disclosed in the USA.
