Yes to all of this, and as someone who was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and has been able to drop their antibodies and regulate -- I want to add something this article did not include under the section of ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS:
If someone wants to not drunk fluoride in their water (no one should) they should also avoid buildings with toxic molds and mycotoxins, as they are directly linked to thyroid dis-ease, especially Hashimoto's.
Most people are living with it and have no idea. It's normal to have SOME of these species in your home unfortunately (due to modern building practices) but one should not be living in a biohazard, and often it takes years (if at all) for a person to discover it since 90 percent of mold is hidden.
Here's a few studies that link mycotoxins to thyroid diseases:
Dr. Andrew Campbell (his talks can be found for free on YouTube at MyMycoLab) talks about this and many other effects extensively.
Thank you for this article, I'd never heard of the usage of black seed. Although I heavily co-sign her usage of non-pharmaceuticals, non-supplements and yoga + nature.. seems to be the best physicians of all, especially the Sun!
I'm going to try the black seed powder, will grind the seeds (which I have) in a coffee grinder & add to my morning shake. I have Global Healing Black Seed Oil, but I have a harder time taking the oil, due to the consistency. I think I'll do better with the powder. I have had some mold in my home, but use HEPA air purifiers & keep the humidity below 50%, so hopefully if I still have some it won't bother me.
I move to Mexico, lived under the sun no more high spread temperature fluctuations my thyroid is now calm I eat better here than u ever could up North I feel much better nowadays no more thyroid pains or discomfort without drugs or further diagnostic test results. I just know.
My ended up with Graves after she was coerced to take the jab for work (she's in allied health care) and has reversed it totally over 3 years of mainly diet related changes. Our lifestyle was always low on exposure to environmental toxins, so reduced that further where possible.
I am 75 and have been told I no longer have a thyroid. My body destroyed it from the Hashimotos. Would the black seed therapy do anything in a case like this?
Great info, thanks so much -- will try these things & see if they will help my sluggish thyroid. On the Mitolux, I watched the presentation with the company owner, another doc & you. I ordered the unit. Upon reading through the instruction manual, however, I learned that a contra-indication is recurrent basal or squamous cell cancer...which I have. I currently have a squamous cell lesion that, if I can't resolve it naturally, will be surgically removed in a month.
I was so bummed, to not be able to use the Mitolux!! Would've been helpful for this info to have been mentioned in the presentation. Or on their website. As it was, I had to order & receive the unit, then read the instruction booklet to learn this. They did allow me to return the unit, & didn't charge the restocking fee, for which I was grateful, but it was aggravating because I didn't always hear back quickly.
Anyway, just thought I'd mention that. I REALLY wanted to use that device, as I do NOT get out in the sun much at all. The humid heat in NW Georgia is just more than I can take, & I don't have a pool. I get my Vit D from supplements, would much rather have gotten it from the Mitolux!!
I was diagnosed with overactive thyroid a few years ago (which I later found out was actually hashimoto, but that's another story) and haven't taken a pharmaceutical or received the recommended radioactive treatment. The fact that either was being pushed kind of blew my mind, considering I felt FINE. Long story short, I went to a naturopath and with changes to diet, taking selenium, zinc, vitamin D, B12 (although, I no longer need it) helped get my numbers all back to normal range. My TPO was over 2000 but after taking iodine and later, adding in black cumin, my number dropped to just over 100. I'm still working on that particular aspect, but overall, I feel great. Of course, I monitored my bloodwork every few month to make sure I'm on track.
Pharma put products like gelatin, wheat, soy, and peanut oil in their vaccines and caused anaphylaxis, hence we see a surge in allergies/ intolerance cases against these ingredients. Autoimmune problems also seem to have similar causations (aka vaccine injuries).
Would be good to know. I order Einkorn from Jovial Foods. They work with Italian farms to grow it organically. It is lower in gluten than American wheat, & of course not poisoned with glyphosate. (US food is just CRAP.)

My sister*
Thank you I forgot the two supplements one of the doctors at Stockton Family used that cured it as well. Grateful for your writing.

You mention the harm of gluten. Are the ancient grains (einkorn, spelt, khorasan) significantly different from hybridized wheat?
