Someone should get this article to Victor Davis Hanson. I love listening to him talk about history, politics, etc., but he is "all-in" on contagion theory. He's even committed to no future flying, as he thinks he keeps "catching something" on flights. (He was recently very sick for weeks after a flight.)
So often these "contagions" are just mass poisonings in disguise!!
Pneumonia per Andrew Saul, doctoryourself.com: two grams vitamin C every six minutes. Just make sure to take plenty of it with you! That's as long as your bowel tolerance can handle it!
Never thought about this...but then again the last time I was on a plane was in 1983. At least I have been able to avoid ONE toxic environment among the 1000's of others.
When things get serious the congress gets serious about writing indemnifications law. If you don't want to fix a problem your duty to the donors is to make sure the guilty are protected. Law making in the defense of lawlessness. If something is illegal or unethical the easiest thing to do is write a statute to make it legal or to indemnify those doing it. Particularly if they are big donors. Worked for vaccines and the mRNA injections. Why not air travel? Surely a donor price can be negotiated.
Hate to sound so cynical but the fact that they shove mRNA in to kiddies has made me cynical. The rush always seems to make indemnification laws rather than fix problems.
We have been screaming about this for years! There have been countless articles in the press and tv programmes in the 17 years since I lost my job as crew due to Aerotoxic Syndrome.
Yes, from what they have said it seems that the problems are very intermittant and it would need some comprehensive air cabin monitoring system to prove that this is happening on a regular basis, and at what levels. The say nothing approach to a problem and don't check anything and nobody knows what the problem is, or blames the mysterious "jet lag" for not feeling so good.
I have not flown for many years and this certainly motivates me to drive or walk!
I remember, back in 1985, when flying to New Zealand on Air New Zealand, before we were allowed to deplane, the flight attendants went down both aisles with an aerosol can of insecticide in each hand, spraying for any insects that may have hitched a ride. Following them down the aisle, a fly was happily flying along.
Sounds like the same playbook of denying vaccine injuries and chemical intolerance of fragranced products. Profits over people. I haven't flown since 1993--can't be around people whos clothes are saturated in scented laundry products.
I have been aware of this for years as I fly more than most.. first I started wearing a mask on all flights. But when one flies all around the world that gets old really quick. Being the engineer type, I thought the problem through, and realized that the toxic levels happen only occasionally. So I bought the following meter
I measure the level inside the airplane, real time, with the above meter. If the levels are abnormal, I put on the mask. I posted the disposable VOC masks that use just before this post.
An interesting tidbit is one time one of the stewardesses came up to me and asked why I have a mask on..? I was honest and told her just what Sayer Ji is telling you. She thanked me..!!! She said all the personel on the plane know about this problem but are not allowed to discuss it with the public. She thanked me again and walked away. There used to be a website called https://aerotoxins.org/ (that a pilot started !!) but good luck finding it now.. And Sayer Ji is absolutely correct about the boeing 787. When you fly it no matter how many hours you feed great when you arrive. I know for a fact that this is true as I have circled the globe in airplanes many times around..
Thank you for writing about this important problem. I particularly appreciate how you outline how long the airlines (and "watchdogs" that never bark) deny this, how much evidence there is over multiple respectable sources, what the exposures are (the chemicals) and their known health effects. That kind of reporting is what I've come to expect from you over the years (at GreenMedInfo.org). With all the chaos in the world, it is wise to keep warning all of us so that we can work together to demand - and obtain - real changes to protect ourselves. Many thanks. Namaste
Another great reason not to bother flying, it hasn't been much fun since biplanes went out of fashion anyway! I prefer hot air balloons, but no doubt some toxic fumes from the flame too?!
I knew Macron was a great guy banning all short haul jet travel (to protect the climate) for EU people (except those who have their own private jets of course) but why didn't he just say it was because they were all being poisoned by the cabin air then we would have understood it, instead of thinking he was just a totalitarian elitist pig who wanted to restrict people's travel.
Geezzz. This makes so much sense.

Everytime Ive flown Ive come down with URI.
A 10 hour flight in 1984 ended me in the hospital for a week with pneumonia

I was taking so much C my pee was beginning to glow in the dark😆 didn't help....I've stopped flying all together now
How could they held accountable or forced to install filters on all of them?
Solution for Aerotoxic Syndrome: Permanently ground ALL aircraft, period. We don't need the damn things. End of debate.
Never thought about this...but then again the last time I was on a plane was in 1983. At least I have been able to avoid ONE toxic environment among the 1000's of others.
You have a gift for comedy. Dont waste it. Lets get busy writing now.
Perhaps they'll make an EUA law for air travel.

Follow the money and you find the problem...
Right on target. The "Hold harmless" clause is easily found in all Unified contract agreement.
Legislators leave all such scrutiny to their 'legal' teams, and lunch is on the House...
This seems like it should be relatativily simple fix... never inexpensive of course but something that needs to be done!
Yes but they would have to admit liability for not fixing it sooner... which would be very very expensive
True.
But you would think the pilots and flight attendants would be screaming about this if it is so problematic and comprehensive..?

They do but nobody is listening.
What type of mask? or any is better than nothing? fortunately I now mainly fly 4 hours or less. (always plan a stopover)
Wow thank you for your due diligence!
