The new CDC Deputy Director sounds more like Florida's Surgeon General, Joseph Lapada, whom I have admired these last few years. As an Epidemiologist (retired) who worked in several health departments, Dr. Lapada and now Dr. Abraham are the kind of people ALL my former Public Health colleagues would have embraced. We quickly recognized true Public Health proponents and held our noses when dealing with the political appointees. I also love your tribute to our innate body healing systems. I know that my Body is a True Healer; I trust mine implicitly. It's taken years of NOT complying with medical jibberish to reach this level of body trust.
