I thought cyano as in cyanocobalamin for b12 rather than the usually preferred methylcobalamin was to be avoided... but maybe not? I knew about the mitochondria origins but not the name.
So is Biliverdin what is being produced in Kryptopyrroluria? I've tracked the root cause to oxidation caused by some underlying infection like Lyme ..... and it involves the breakdown of heme.

Spirulina makes me violently ill as soon as it hits my stomach. The same happens to my daughter. Immediate purge.
