Whitewashing terms such as "tale" dishonor the facts and truth of God's Word and the sacrifice He made. Our Creator took on flesh and dwelt among us according to the evidence and the testimony of thousands of witnesses as recorded in the Bible. https://raindrop.io/glycop/shroud-of-turin-18528216
So many philosophers, spiritualists label God as being unable or uninterested by Alpha Omega Everywhere nature to focus on one human life and mind in historys events assuming he's beyond all that in a everywhere cosmos state so why bother focusing on little human lives here and there...the answer is simple: Mankind is one of God's most purposeful creations, part good, part evil and at certain junctures of time and place battles between good and evil get most intense and there were many such moments at the beginnings of mankinds history, and Sampsons life and example to all of us was one: Many if not all of us are granted unique gifts that can channel God's spirit to work in unison if not forever betrayed by taking the dark path without repentance with our precious gift of free will; the lesson of Sampson is that and more: God's most interested in preserving his creation ie mankind or any single person, even if they fell much, just not irrevocably all the way where the sin became pure to archetypal level ie they then hated God in that state the fallen angels did,and much of the nephilim hybrids did too later by such a pure evil spirited/choice connections..Question is are the Gentiles the tail end of the nephilim hybrid fall with enough breeding with the tribes after Noah where they could resonate clean enough of demonic to be redeemed; Im not certain but seems comparable to fallen state of Adam and Eves offspring and intertwining energetically in the Garden of Eden by bad choices, alignments some say may have even reached sexual progeny results ie partially of serpent/demonic ie Seth side lineage ,etc.
I'll not commit to a lineage theory but I firmly believe God is at core purpose maximizing the good of us or those left with heart and soul after free will choice's devastations in evil choice seems we all have to fall too,but it's only those who deeply repent that continue to live in and with the eternity that is God in a state of chosen love(both createe and creator choosing love),ahh so beautiful story of hope the story of Sampson and his hair channeling the strengths of holy Spirit with many Bible readers thinking they've sinned too deeply for redemption and divorce from the demons:Sampson was among most horrific sinners and betrayed of God and good ever heard of,yet God felt his regrets were true and forgave him and returned his strength to his about purely Godless enemies dismay ,greatest party crasher of all time,on their heads the coliseum fell; another lesson there: We must humbly yet boldly kill the sin in us by choice (demonic eviction) and come to recognize when certain spirits or People's are too evil to let live ie the good angels of lore imprisoning or slaying evil ones.ultimately how can we represent purer good if we are compromising to evil to close for comfort ie its never heavenly hanging with hellions forever! We are not all one at all, true life is choosing separation from evil to the max, maxing dualistic compromise advantages is the average middle road path most take too long; make a strong choice sooner vs later is God's advice.
very interesting. i have always considered my long hair a strength. gonna need a new dictionary but i love the way you always tie science, and the ultimate order, to god.
The reason for baldness has to do with stem cells; hair follicles are collections of stem cells. As we get older, stem cells all around our body will get exhausted and die off. I don't know why we have specific patterns of balding, my guess is certain parts of your head hair work harder than others and get exhausted faster.
I really appreciate your research into this brother.
I will be honest that I do not like the A.I. animations, however, as someone that cannot afford to pay human flash animation specialists myself (and someone that would really benefit from either doing so or using the free A.I. alternatives to educate people) I understand the choice.
It's not just the images that's AI though, the whole article was basically stolen from someone else's post that was written by AI. Which is a problem, because AI actually is pretty bad at understanding evidence.
If this is so, and I'm inclined to believe there is more to hair than dead cells - nature does not evolve unnecessary and useless features that require energy and resources from the body - then it begs the questions, what other differences in hair are significant, possess different powers? Is hair length the strongest determinant? How about hair width, some people have thicker hair shafts than other. Does that impart any perceptible sensory power advantage/disadvantage? How about hair color? While melatonin is a determinant of color, how do different colors impact any perceptible sensory power, advantage/disadvantage? Fine or coarse hair difference? Curly or straight? Facial hair, pubic hair, armpit hair....back hair...? All hair is not created equal. I would intuit that any comprehensive study would need to control for those differences, not just hair length. If this thesis is true, with such fine perceptive senses that hair is able to transmit/receive, the slightest variation in hair composition would seemingly have an impact. Which would also need to be studied.
Why should men be able to grow beards & we women can’t? It’s now about cold weather or women would have developed the same capacity. Was it/is it to signal high testosterone, alpha male capabilities?
Why should some men go bald & others retain their hair? And women mostly don’t go bald?
As for the utility of hair, one thing to consider is sexual selection. Think about male peacocks; their massive beautiful plumed tail makes it hard for them to fly and hurts their survivability. But the peacocks with the most beautiful tails get the most mates, and thus pass their big tail gene off to their kids. Beards could be our version of that.
I have no bubble to burst. "If true..." And your description fits with my evolution providing an advantage comment. If or if not what he says is true, and I'm inclined to believe it, my comment stands. If you had chosen a more respectful approach I might have bothered to read your link. But you went straight to sanctimonious attack - erroneously.
I'm of the mind that stories from antiquity like Samson's hair providing him super strength have some basis to them. More than metaphor or mythology. And that there is something more to hair than is measurable by the tools and processes we use to validate, "science." Whether it is exactly as Sayer describes or some other phenomenon my instinct tells me there is something to it. My instincts are pretty good about such things.
Personally, I think differently. To me, what makes stories like Samson powerful (pun intended) is not that they portray a historical event, but that they convey an emotional truth. A truth of being tricked by those who use temptation to further their own ends, and of personal redemption. His hair to me is a symbol.
I think your instincts are right in that there's a lot more to hair than what can be observed, and I think that it's the culture surrounding hair. Hair has so much meaning as a symbol that it gives it a kind of power that affects the wearer and onlookers. A balding person may feel a sense of agency and strength in shaving his head. A punk rocker may feel a sense of strength and individuality by choosing to wear their hair in a way that doesn't conform to societal standards. It's not due to magnetism, it's because (IMO) we can be psychologically affected by our interactions with symbols.
There was a time I thought my mullet gave me great power. Especially with the ladies. When I see so many kids with the Edgar cut today I think one day they'll look back at it like I look back at the mullet I rocked!
I understand you think differently than Sayer or even my instincts say. Thing is, we get to say what we think, and others may be persuaded one way or the other based on their own instinctive sense of what resonates inside them.
I was looking for where it said that when my hairs stand up, something important is being said or is happening! i find this phenomenon fascinating. I didn't read every word, but i didn't find a mention of that. Sayer Ji, do you know about this in your own life?
The first time I listened to a Ted Talk featuring Yuval Harari, my hair stood straight up on my arms, I got an odd offputting sensation up and down my legs and arms and then upon seeing his face and black eyes, I was physically not feeling well. What comes out of his mouth and the way he speaks is chilling. And to this day, when I go back and see if it all happens again looking at the same Ted Talk with Harari, it does.
It’s such a strange phenomenon - the hair on our neck can indeed seem to ‘stand up’ with a clear physical feeling when there’s some kind of threat. It’s quite visible in cats when the fur on their back rises in response to a threat. So it seems to be a signaling system, though more vestigial now in us humans.
thanks for replying. in me it's very clear when my hairs stand up! something is important. it's not about a threat. it's about a new understanding, a new way of seeing something. like a quick shock in a good way!
I just wrote this comment above but I get the same kind of threat feeling.

Interesting. Kind of ties in with the facts that babies are born with no or not much hair & old people’s hair disappears or gets very thin.
So it’s in youth & middle age - when we have most energy & maximum physical ‘power’ - that our hair is naturally at its strongest. It either emanates from that vigor - or feeds into it?
Thank you for this most interesting perspective. Interestingly enough, cutting my hair greatly increases my overall comfort, and seems to increase my performance during my daily workout routine. The scalp has more touch receptors than most other body parts, and the sensory innervation of the scalp comes primarily from both the trigeminal and cervical nerves. And combined with the high density of hair follicles and sweat / sebaceous glands in the scalp, it makes sense that hair follicles can be associated / antenuated to bioelectromagnetic stimuli.
In a free country, we do get to say what we think, and I think it's a good thing. But at the same time, actually looking deep at Sayer's post shows that there isn't good evidence showing that hair is magnetic. I ask you to consider reading my post. It is a bit snarky, but I believe that by scrutinizing everything we believe in, we will eventually get to the truth.
Thanks for pointing this out, Drew. I still there must be something else involved; I can see how hair might have to do w/ strength etc. (Samson), but there, as I said above, very wise and holy bald people (Socrates, Plato, etc.). Do you think that the strength related to hair is external (Samson) and when that strength gets internalized, one loses hair? And I know that can't be a simple A=B kind of explanation because, likewise, there are very wise and holy people with full heads of hair (Osho comes to mind) or does one compensate by growing a beard? It's all very interesting.
Sooooo interesting! Sure does make you consider what all the EMF emission is doing to us. Including this little rectangular thing we are holding in our hand right now.

The historical biblical account of Samson was not a "tale". Archeological evidence suggests "the tale" was factual. https://raindrop.io/glycop/archaeology-18528213 The world in which Samson lived was real and so was his strength. https://biblearchaeology.org/research/chronological-categories/israel-in-the-era-of-the-judges/3800-between-the-pillars-revisiting-samson-and-the-house-of-dagon

Ah I apologize, it wasn't meant as an attack. I meant it in the sense of, sorry to be a wet blanket to the idea that hair is magnetic.

(not wasting it)
