A couple weeks ago I read that if you soak raw garlic in honey that it will ferment over a few weeks and make the active compounds in the garlic stronger and more bioavailable. I'm soaking some right now but haven't tried it yet. You have to flip the mason jar upside down every day so that the top of the garlic gets resubmerged, becuase the garlic floats on top of the honey.

Thank you!!!! I have been using oregano oil as an antibiotic, and I will certainly add garlic. And I really appreciate the information on the forms of garlic to be used. I have been planning to roast garlic until soft and use it as a spread - will do this anyway - but will stock up on other forms. Nature is wonderful, isn't it.
