Any NGO whose main funding source is government isn't an NGO. They're doing the work the bureaucracy wants done but the bureaucracy wants to pretend their hands aren't directly involved.
It would seem a simple change to put legislation in place such that NGOs cannot have government as their primary funding source. Instead the NGOs must raise funds themselves; perhaps a ratio of 2 private dollars for every taxpayer dollar?

I’m trying to put myself in Sayer’s shoes. Here’s a man of high intellect and integrity dedicated to helping people find health through natural means, in battle with false organizations conspiring to ‘shut him up.’ As Sayer’s reporting clearly illustrates, the term Non Governmental Organization is in fact a misnomer. In the case of CCDH - it receives government money to attack ‘not protect’ Americans first amendment rights. I view this as a violent act of aggression. A crime of such severity requiring harsh consequences. While I’ve always been loathe to support the death penalty, this is a crime of such significance, I believe ‘criminal actions taken to sabotage an individual’s first amendment liberty’ warrants it. As this case demonstrates, we live in a time of threat from fascist incursion and unless we wrap our heads around this glaring fact, our sacred Bill of Rights faces extinction. If these ghastly parasites succeed in shutting down the first amendment - citizen’s rights will fall like dominoes. We must raise our voices against these acts of aggression against our first amendment rights - or be gradually turned into slaves.
