Just a thought: how many supplement companies have been taken over or bought out by Big Pharma? Is all that $6.8T going into alt providers or Big Pharma? It is a legitimate question to ask because whether they sell and adulterated supplements or outright poison makes no difference to an oligarch.

If supplements were that good at restoring our health, why are we still sick? There are supplement companies out there that are independent of Big Pharma, but their supplements are sometimes 2x the cost of supplements from companies you know about. And if we use the argument pay now or pay later, the pay later argument always wins because of health "insurance".

You want this to end? Get RID of health insurance and instead go to a ene-to-end any willing provider system, instead of favoring one set of providers while the others scramble for the crumbs! It is INSURANCE that makes health care unaffordable. INSURANCE is what allows all the parasites we call 'middlemen' to jack up the cost of health care sometimes 10x-20x what even the M.D would charge in an open market.

End-to-end is simply you pay the doctor or provider instead of the provider filing oodles of paperwork to an INSURANCE company and getting partial reimbursement. The doctor knows this and charges you inflated rates so the doctor gets what he or she wants. You are paying for all that oodles of paperwork (called staff) who aren't there to provide medical care. If you think it will still be unaffordable, take a look at your statement from the insurance company and notice all the charges that have fancy names with no explanation or if you get a medical device such as a wrist brace for carpal tunnel syndrome (Dx itself implies ignorance as to the cause) and go to your local drug store and look at the cost of the exact same brace, you would think your brace is made out of gold.

That is because this is a parasitic infested system where every parasite gets a cut. And who dictates the standard of care? Medicare? Really? Medicare is an INSURANCE provider, not a doctor, so why are THEY setting the standards of care? Shouldn't doctors be doing that? Every doctor has a cash rate usually called by another name and it is significantly less than the published rates charged to insurance companies. Many times the rates are affordable. Don't have it? Shop around.

In a true market driven health care system where M.D.'s have to compete with Chinese Medicine doctors, chiropractors or naturopaths, we wouldn't be as sick and wouldn't need all these high priced specialists or 'functional medicine' doctors who dispense perhaps Big Pharma produced supplements like candy at the expense of your pocketbook. If MAHA really wants to reform health care-implement any willing provider laws with NO INSURANCE. Then we will see real alternatives with no ties to Big Pharma or one of their noname affiliates.

Thanks to your Regeneration book and other resources, when the arrogant cardiologist told me to take expensive meds for the rest of my life or die soon, I dug into what they were, realized they were a joke to pad her bottom line, and got off all of them immediately. Now "drug" fee in my 70s, doing all the right things, looking back on all the malpractice thru my first ever journey thru the system. And seeing the continuing deluge of propaganda the unknowing or faithful believers suck up. So much more to say about what I came across.

Paul Offit is obviously a psychopath.
